A HUGE congratulations goes out to the Brink Junior High Cheerleaders who dominated this weekend's JamFest competition. The girls took 1st in their advanced junior high division making them national champs for the 2nd year in a row. They beat out 30 squads to win the most entertaining award for their routine and performance, and took away a paid bid to the U.S. Finals in Kansas City to be held in April of this year. The girls then won the most prestigious award of the competition: Grand National Champions! The girls were the only school cheer squad to score in the 8.0 and above range knocking out all the other high school and junior high school cheer teams to win the title. The girls came away with most entertaining spirit fingers, 2 trophys, a national championship banner, individual champion medals, individual champion backpacks, and grand national championship jackets! Congratulations ladies! Brink is so proud of you and your accomplishments this year!
Any 7th or 8th grade boy or girl interested in attending basketball camps over spring break or during the summer, needs to pick up a flyer in the front office.
