Westmoore students are invited to come to St. Andrew's United Methodist Church for Lunch Joint! For only $3.50 they will receive a Chick-fil-a sandwich, chips, drink and dessert. St. Andrew's is located at 2727 SW 119th between Penn and May. Hey Westmoore book club officers! Don't forget our meeting today at 3:05 in room 172! Want to show your school spirit? Then tryout for the 2010-2011 Jaguar cheerleading squad or to be the next JJ Jaguar. Packets for tryouts are still available in room #152. An open-practice will be held in the gym on Tuesday, March 23 and packets are due by 3pm on Monday, March 29 to Mrs. White. Seniors: Westmoore PTSA will be awarding $1000.00 scholarships by random drawing to some lucky seniors this spring. The only qualifications to be entered in the drawing are : 1.) Senior MUST be a member of PTSA and then 2.) he/she must sign up in the office to enter the drawing during the week of March 22nd to the 26th. That's it - it's that easy! No essays, no long forms to fill out! If you have not joined PTSA and want to be entered in the drawing join NOW by taking $5.00 membership dues to Sally in the office. Don't miss out on a chance to win $1000.00 for college!! Youth Council of Oklahoma City applications are now available. If you are interested in being on the youth council and seeing how our city government runs, you definitely will want to apply! See your counselor. Attention all Seniors!! Caps and Gowns will be delivered the week after Spring Break!! Please come pick up your orders Tuesday March 23rd to Thursday March 25th in the small gym from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.!! Attention Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors: If you missed the reading test given by your English teacher in January, a make-up test session will be offered today, March 10th at 3:00 PM after school in room 152. Arrive early with a pencil; first come, first served as seating is limited to 20 students per session. For more information, see Mrs. White in room 152. Juniors, if you received an invitation to be a junior escort, please return the acceptance form to Miss Dawson in the choir room as soon as possible. All forms must be in by Thursday at 8:20.... And now a word from the Media Center: the answer to Friday's Dr. Seuss trivia was the goldfish. A big thank you to everyone who participated in our Dr. Seuss Trivia week. Attention students: Voting for the Sequoyah Book Awards will continue this week in the Media Center. If you have read three or more of the nominated books, you can help select our school winner.
