WHS ACADEMIC TEAM
DESCRIPTION:
Academic team is a orginization in which students are given the opportunity to compete against other districts in Quiz Bowl, a fast-paced Jepeordy-like game. Students who possess knowledge in a wide variety of subjects, including: science, math, social studies, sports, literature, and movies should seriously consider taking part in Westmoore's Academic Team.
HOW TO JOIN:
Practice times are on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays after school at 3:05. They last for about an hour. In order to join, JUST SHOW UP! Practices are usually held in room 121 (Mrs. Baker's room).
There will be membership dues to cover the cost of your T-shirt and to help pay entry fees for some academic team competitions.
(Note: Off-season practices from February to May are Mondays and Thursdays, 3:05 - 4:00 in Room 121.)
