Message For Southgate Golden Cats

Southgate Golden Cats,

School will be back in session Monday, March 30.  Due to the damage, Southgate will be relocated to Emmaus Baptist Church located at 16001 S Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73170.  Emmaus is approximately 4 miles from Southgate.  Due to transportation issues your student’s school schedule will change for the remainder of the year.  School will start at 9:45 a.m. and will dismiss at 4:21.  Pre-K and half-day Kindergarten times are: AM- 9:45-12:18 and PM 1:48-4:21.  Transportation will not be provided for Pre-K students as this is a district policy.  Due to the fact that buses only run morning and afternoon routes mid-day pick up and drop off will be the parent’s responsibility for half day kindergartners (this procedure is followed by all schools).  We will be providing bus services from 8 different bus stops throughout the neighborhood for students.  You may choose to drop off and pick up your student at Emmaus or use the bus service.  For pick-up drop off procedure click the link below.  You will find your child’s bus information by clicking here.  Moore School’s personnel will be on each bus during the first week to help your student learn the new procedures.  If you do not have access to utilize the link a list of all bus stops is posted in the windows at the front office of Southgate Elementary.   You may also call 735-4277 for information.  We appreciate your help during this transition time.  Teachers are looking forward to greeting their student’s on Monday.
