Chamber Choir is one of Westmoore's two "classical/jazz" choirs.  Auditions for this class take place prior to enrollment each spring.  Students must audition to be enrolled in this class.  Chamber Choir students perform and compete at many events, both locally and and nationally, and are required to audition for All-State Choir in October.   Since much of what Chamber Choir does is performance/competition based, eligibility is essential for members of this class.   There is a $30 choir fee for all choir students (due by August 31st).  There is a uniform requirement for all members of this class, and attendance at all choir concerts is required for ALL choir students.

Members of Chamber Choir:

• Are required to audition for OMEA All-State Choir (freshmen are required to audition for OCDA Jr. High All-State Choir)
• Compete at district and state solo and ensemble contests
• Peform at all vocal music concerts
• Perform the national anthem at all home basketball, wrestling and football events
• Compete at state choir contest
• Compete at national contests!  Recent contests include:  San Diego, St. Louis, New Orleans, Denver, Gatlinburg and Chicago
• Perform with such nationally known groups as Canterbury Choral Society
• Perform with all choir students at graduation
• Perform at Evening with the Arts
