A few suggestions from the librarian...
Our Media Center provides a wide range of print and technology based resources for the educational and recreational use of our students. Here are a few suggestions for you when your students bring home books from the library.
1. Encourage your child to share their books with you. Reading together helps our students read better.
2. Have a special “safe” place for library books at home so they don’t become damaged or lost. I usually encourage the children to keep their library books in their backpack throughout the week. Help your student remember to return his or her books on time. Most books may be renewed if more time is needed.
3. If a book is damaged, please return it to the library for repair. Books that are lost or damaged beyond repair will need to be paid for by the student.
If you have any questions feel free to email Mrs. Emily Monroe.
