Hello, I am Lindsey Golightly and I am excited to be the school counselor at Northmoor Elementary.

As the school counselor, my goal is to help develop and implement a comprehensive guidance and counseling program that is an integral part of the entire school program.  The program is designed to help every student be successful academically, emotionally, and socially.  I am dedicated to servicing all students, parents, and school staff.

The counseling program will consist of the following:

    • Classroom guidance
    • Individual student support
    • Small group counseling (coping skills and grief counseling are available each year)
    • Testing information and interpretation
    • Consultant and referral source between school, parents, and community
Link for outside counseling and other resources---- Local Resources

Students may receive counseling services by:

    • completing a student referral
    • teacher referral
    • parent referral/request

Consent forms are required for one on one student supportive services at Northmoor (provided by counselors at Project Moore Hope), Journey of Hope (8 week small group coping skills lessons), and Calm Waters (6 week grief counseling).

Communication is important to each student's success.  Please feel free to contact me.
