• Teacher of the Year
     
    Each year, the faculty of Southmoore High School selects a "Teacher of the Year".  Members of the faculty and staff nominate candidates for this award and then those candidates who receive the most nominations are placed on the official selection ballot.  The winner of each year's "Teacher of the Year" then has the opportunity to compete for the Moore Public Schools Teacher of the Year, the selection of which is coordinated through the District's Professional Development Committee.
