I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, my name is Amy Frazier and I am the School Counselor for Central Elementary. I am so happy to be here and part of such a wonderful school and community!
This year starts my 12th year in education. I enjoy being a school counselor and it has been the most rewarding career for me, especially at the elementary level. I am thrilled to continue working with PreK – 6th graders to provide support for children through a variety of services. This year I will be teaching guidance lessons which will include character development curriculum called, "Character First." I will also provide individual and group counseling support for children in need. Each year outside agencies help our students throughout the year with small support groups. Every small group requires parent permission. If you feel your child would benefit from any of these services, please feel free to call me at the school or come by.
I look forward to meeting you all and getting to know you and your children. I have a website on our school’s homepage that outlines my guidance lessons, outreach programs, and other parent resources that might be helpful during the year.
Looking forward to a wonderful year with you all!! GO CUBS!!
