    April 7, 2017:  Project Cuffway from 6:00 PM-Midnight at the Tulsa Convention Center
     
    Congratulations to our winning Fisher Project Cuffway Team, Ella Pilgrim, Grace Danscuk, Krisha Pramod, Payton Schuff and Kai Szymanski,  for being selected to showcase their costume design at the Cox Convention Center.  Also, congratulations to our winning Sky Ranch and Houchin Project Cuffway Team, Ashley Groves, Olivia Dutton, Caleb Carpenter, Ignacio Martinez, Emily Mireles, Grace Morris, Gracyn Sneed, and Grace Wilson.  There were over 1,000 entries in the contest, so this is quite an honor!

    Congratulations to the Fisher Pit Crew, Katie Cusack, Julia Gunter, and Ryan Franklin for a successful Rube Goldberg Invention and for winning most creative theme!

    Congratulations to Ella Pilgrim for winning the Colonial Day Essay Contest.  Ella's essay was judged by the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence along with 500 other student essays from across Oklahoma.  She was the overall winner and received a plaque and $100.00.

     Remembering George Washington

    January 30 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

    Join the Oklahoma History Center and interpretive staff from Colonial Williamsburg and George Washington’s Mount Vernon as we remember George Washington and his life through the eyes of his physician and friend Dr. Craik and Lady Martha Washington. The museum will open at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday January 30 with the program beginning at 7:00 p.m.

    Admission to the program is free. Seating is limited and reservations are required. For more information or to make a

    Drive-In and is made possible through our partnership with Colonial Williamsburg, George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens, and the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence.

    Colonial Day at the Capitol is Friday, January 31, 2014. 
     
    Students need to arrive at the Capitol by 9:00 and our day will end at 1:40.  Parents will drop off and pick up their children on the 4th floor Rotunda area.  Students are to be dressed in colonial costume and bring a drink and snack for lunch.  Pizza will be provided.

     Congratulations to Eva Reis for winning the Colonial Day at the Capitol Essay Contest themed "What It Means to be an American."  Approximately 350 students from all over Oklahoma participated.  Essays were judged by the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence and Eva was awarded $100.00.  Eva did an amazing job!
