HEJH Band

Director- Angie Taylor

Angie Taylor is in her 15th year with Moore Bands and currently serves as the director at Highland East Junior High and as brass coordinator for Moore High School. Before teaching in Moore, she served as band director in Ada for five years. She received her Bachelor of Music Education Degree with honors at East Central University in 2002 and performed graduate studies there as well.

In addition to serving as a clinician and adjudicator, she is a member of several professional organizations, has been named to Who's Who among America's Teachers, and has been nominated for the Disney Teacher Award. Recently Ms. Taylor was elected Vice-President of the Oklahoma Music Adjudicator's Association. In 2005 she was the Masonic Teacher of the Year for Highland East Junior High.
