East Ink

Painting is poetry that is seen rather than felt, and poetry is painting that is felt rather than seen.  ~Leonardo da Vinci

The East Ink Writing and Art Club is an environment where we can all express ourselves artistically and creatively.

We consist of many types of artists: writers, poets, visual artists, musicians, photographers, visionaries, and videographers .

Some of the goals we try to accomplish in East Ink are:

state competitions, volunteer work, a monthly newsletter for the school, sponsoring the Week of Tolerance, publishing our works in nationally circulated papers, creating a yearly magazine with our best works, and just generally being soundboards and brain-stormers for each other.
