    Hello!  My name is Melissa Geiger and I am the Counselor at VISTA Academy.  I received my Bachelors degree in 2000 from Oklahoma State University (GO POKES) and my Master's Degree in School Counseling from Amberton University (Garland, TX) in 2007.  I have two children Gage (1st grade) and Cade (4 years old).  We love little league sports and spend most weekends at the ball park.  We also have two Boxer's Anakin and Allie. 

     
    I work with all students 7th - 12th grade at VISTA Academy.  This year I will work with Junior High on building and maintaining relations using the Second Step Curriculum.  I will also be working with the high school students on graduation, credit recovery, post high school opportunities, and inter-personal relationships.
