The Oklahoma State Department of Education has released this year’s A-F Report Cards. District and individual school site report cards may be viewed at http://afreportcards.ok.gov
While we realize that a single letter grade based solely on student test scores and school attendance cannot capture what we do well or where we need to improve, we know that sharing the state’s interpretation of our district’s progress with you is an important piece of accountability.
Moore Public Schools understands that school improvement is an ongoing process. This is why we emphasize parental involvement, professional development, and data-based decision making. Every child deserves teachers who understand the individual needs and aspirations of their students. We work diligently, both during the school year and during the summer, learning more about the content we teach, the technology we use, and the instructional materials we choose to incorporate. Most importantly, we focus on avenues to meet the individual needs of our students.
Our pledge is to answer any questions you may have about these grades, our test scores, and any other academic concerns. We know that student achievement matters and that our community understands the true measure of our success.
