7th Grade NJHS Induction will be held Thursday, April 29th, at 6:00 pm in the Auditorium at Central Junior High 400 N. Broadway. Attendance will be limited to candidates for membership and parents/guardians. Attendance for candidates for membership is MANDATORY for the final step of membership. Candidates will need to be there at 5:15 pm.
There will be a Parent's Meeting on Monday, May 3rd at HEJH in the New Gym. Incoming 7th Grade Parents will meet at 6:30 pm. Incoming 8th Grade Parents will meet at 7:15 pm. Each meeting will last approximately 30 minutes.
There will be a Cross Country Parent Meeting for 2021-2022 7th, 8th, and 9th graders, Tuesday, May 11th at Moore High School in the Lecture Center at 6:30 pm.
HEJH will be back on stage for the FIRST time this year to perform our Choir Concert! In addition, our 8th graders will perform their spot light solo's! The Concert will take place Friday, May 7th at Central Junior High School in the Auditorium at 6:30 pm.
HEJH Band and Choir will join together to perform a concert outdoors on the Thunder Court, Monday, May 10th. The time: TBA. This should be an absolute blast and good finish to a rough year! Come join us!
2021 Moore Junior High Volleyball Evaluations
Volleyball evaluations are used to place players on different teams to best prepare them for the season. This year, our evaluations will be held on July 19th and 20th in the Moore High School main gym. 7th grade will be evaluated from 4-5:30pm, with 8th grade following 5:30-7pm. Please plan to be there 30 minutes prior for check in and warm up.
Teams will be announced the following day, July 21st via TeamApp* Practice for all teams will begin on Thursday, July 22nd times and locations TBD. Please bring filled water bottles and a bag for your personal belongings such as knee pads and shoes. Temperatures will be checked upon arrival, and masks will always be worn unless active on the court.
*TeamApp is how all coaches communicate with players and parents. You can download TeamApp on any mobile device, or search TeamApp on your web browser. Once downloaded, search moorelionsvolleyball for all the information on our program and announcements from your coaching staff. We will be having a parent meeting tentatively on the week of July 12th. Information regarding the exact date and time of the meeting will be announced on TeamApp in the coming weeks.

Practice Test: OSTP Grades 3-8 and CCRA Science &US History
Practice tests for the online OSTP assessments are now available in kiosk mode and online via a web browser. Students should use these practice questions to become familiar with the online tools* available as well as the formatting of the multiple-choice, constructive response, and technology enhanced items. Please remember that the intent of these practice questions is not to predict a student’s performance level on the operational assessment, but to familiarize them with the online platform. These practice questions may be used in school as well as sent home for families to review.
