I have grown up in Moore my entire life graduating from Moore High School in 2008. I went to college at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma graduating with a Bachelor Degree in History. I first joined Moore Public School in 2012 where I took a position as a Paraprofessional at Southmoore. Then I changed my path to teaching and taught History at Southmoore for a year (on an emergency certification) while I finished getting my teacher certification. I was fortunate to be a long-term substitute at Highland East for seventh grade Geography in 2016-17 school year. I fell in love with the Highland East family and was very excited to get a position teaching Social Studies for this up coming school year. I am part of a large close family that has grown up in Moore with many having careers in education (mainly at MPS). I have many fur-babies that I enjoy spoiling (cat, dog, and two chinchillas). I also love to read books about anything and everything.
