I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors Degree in Science in 1981. I received my Masters Degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in the area of Special Education in 1992. My first teaching assignment was at Hefner Jr. High teaching physical education to 7th, 8th, and 9th graders. I came to the Moore District in the Spring of 1992 and started teaching Special Education at Southgate Elementary School. The following year, they moved the program over to Central Elementary School where I taught one year. The district changed the program again the next year and I started teaching at Earlywine Elementary. I taught at Earlywine Elementary for 12 years. After taking a 4 year leave of absence from teaching, I came back in 2009 to teach Pre-K with my best friend, Mrs. Eger. In 2017, I moved over to Kelley Elementary to teach Kindergarten with Mrs. Davenport. Teaching children has been a wonderful and enriching experience. The little girls and guys make me smile and reward me with their assorted personalitles. |
