• Mrs. Chaney's Expectations and Procedures
     
    All students are expected to act respectfully toward all school personnel, visitors, and students, including themselves.  Disrespectful or discourteous behavior, including disruptions that rob students of learning opportunities, will not be tolerated.

    All classroom policies, including tardiness and acceptable behavior, will follow the Moore Public Schools and Brink Junior High policies as stated in the student handbook.

    These expectations of conduct are posted in the classroom:

     

              1.  Do Right.  Follow the rules.  Make good choices.  Set an example for others to follow.

     

              2.  Do Unto Others....  Be nice.  Play fair.  Show respect to everyone.

     

              3.  Do your job.  Try.  Try again.  Make yourself, your class, your teacher, and your    school exceptional.

     

     

    Any behavioral choices will be handled as quickly and appropriately as possible:

     

    Positive Reactions:

                Rewards and Benefits........................ stickers, treats, smiles, and laughter

                Bragging Rights................................ the authority to brag with pride to other classes

                Pride in yourself and your class.............this needs no explanation

    Negative Reactions:

                Informal Conference......................... teacher/student discussion of the issue

                Lunch Detention............................. 10 minutes served during lunchtime

                AM/PM Detention............................ 30 minutes before or after school & parent contact

                Formal Conference............................teacher/student/principal conference & parent contact

                Referral...........................................referral to principal

     

    Tardy Policy: (All tardies are counted in attendance record.)

        Discipline for Tardy:  1st: Warning; 2nd: Parent Contact; 3rd: am/pm Detention; 6th: Principal Notified

                         

     
    Late Work Policy:  
                         10 pts off per day late up to 30 pts.  You have a week to turn in late work.

    Cell Phone Class Policy:  Your cell phone needs to be OFF and in your Pencil Bag or Purse, or of course you can keep it in your locker.
