History of Moore West Junior High

Moore West opened in 1975 as West Junior High on Santa Fe (currently known as Highland West). In 1976, Moore West Junior High opened on South Penn for 7th grade only. In 1977, the building on South Penn was opened as Moore West Mid High for 9th and 10th grade. When Westmoore opened in 1988, Moore West became Moore West Junior High for 7th, 8th, and 9th grade. We now currently serve 7th and 8th grades.
