• Hello and welcome to my junior English site!

         One of the great aspects of a career in teaching is the fresh new start we get each and every August.  I am optimistic for this new year, and I hope to make strong and lasting connections with my new students!  

         I can't believe it, but this is my 25th year here at Westmoore High School.  I started my career teaching Speech, Debate, and Mock Trial courses, and for the last many years, I have taught English III and Advanced Placement English Language and Composition.  I love teaching for many reasons--primarily, the opportunity to work with such wonderful students and faculty who keep my thinking and laughing and learning.  

         I am blessed to have a truly remarkable husband and so thankful for our kids who make life so interesting, fun, and meaningful.  Additionally, I enjoy reading, golfing,  walking my dogs, and piddling with various crafts and projects.
