• Hello and Welcome to Señora MacDonald's Site

I am a product of the Moore Public Schools and proud of it! After graduating from
Westmoore, I went to Oklahoma State University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. Following my student teaching in Putnam City, I spent 4 weeks in Costa Rica studying Spanish in an immersion program. It was absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to go back one day!

During my second year of teaching I got married and decided that I wanted to go back to school. The following January I began my graduate courses at Southern Nazarene University. I obtained a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership in December 2003. I am currently  pursuing my  doctoral degree from the University of Oklahoma.

I am certified in the following areas: Elementary Ed, Spanish (PK-12), and Elementary and Secondary Principal. I taught 1 year at Nicoma Park Junior High, and 4 years in Mid-Del at Carl Albert Jr. High. I spent four years teaching at Brink Jr. High and have been involved in many committees at the district level as well.

In 2011 I certified as a National Board Certified Teacher. I feel so blessed to have earned this accomplishment!

At Westmoore High School I am World Language Department Chair and a Co-Sponsor for Spanish Club.

Currently I am the Oklahoma Representative and Past-President to the SW Conference on Language Teaching (SWCOLT). Also, I have also served as a Past-President of the Oklahoma Foreign Language Teacher Association (OFLTA). I am proud to be a member of these organizations and love the work that we do to provide conferences for our state's and region's World Language teachers and to promote our subject areas!

    I LOVE MY JOB!

This is my 21st year of teaching, and I am very proud and excited to be a part of the Spanish team at Westmoore High School for the 12th year now! It's great to be a Jaguar!
