• Speech Pathologist within the public schools work on many different skills to include speech (articulation), language, fluency and social skills.  As a high school speech pathologist, my focus for most of my students is working on speech and language tasks that are functional.  We begin to address the skills that will be required for transition into post-secondary education, work life and/or independent living.  I assist students who have difficulty in the areas of speech, language, fluency and pragmatics, but try to do this in a way that will help them as they move toward their future.
