Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Kleine

This will be my 28th year as an educator. 2020-21 is my ninth year at Central Junior High - as a teacher. I'm proud to say I was a Central Cub "back in the day" and I am happy to be home!

I'm a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and taught middle school science in Norman for 14 years. For the 5 years prior to coming to CJH I was a Science Project Specialist for the K20 Center at OU. While there I had the opportunity to travel around the state and work with outstanding teachers from elementary through high school, but my first love is the classroom and I always wanted to get back to students. (Students are much more fun!)

I believe that science is all about "WHY? and "HOW?" and I try to teach it in a manner that reflects that philosophy.
When students leave my class, I foremost want them to be able to seek answers to questions and use that knowledge to make decisions as responsible citizens. Additionally, I want them to maintain their curiosity and fascination about the world around them!
My husband and I live "out in the country" with 3 very vocal donkeys, 3 tree-climbing goats, and a cat who keeps the whole crew in line.
