About me...I am very lucky to have made some wonderful friends throughout my career...from colleagues to students and parents. I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1996. My career began at Villa Teresa downtown teaching Pre-K and then 2nd grade. Eventually, I taught first grade at Bishop John Carroll Catholic school for 8 years. Ready to come to Moore Public Schools, I taught 5th grade at Wayland Bonds Elementary for 3 years, and 8 years at Heritage Trails with some awesome 5th & 6th graders! It is so exciting to be back home at Wayland Bonds teaching 4th grade! I love Moore...it is my family. I am Central Elementary, Highland East Jr. High, Central Mid-High (long ago), and Moore High School alumni. I am married to my husband, Chris, with 2 awesome kiddos, Layne and Reagan. We have a beagle named Bella who is spoiled rotten! I love all things OU, shopping, mexican food, and hanging with friends and family! I have the most amazing teammates at WB...not to mention staff and principal!
