Degrees and Certifications:
I was born and raised in Eastern Tennessee and graduated from Tusculum College in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science and was also a four year letterman and starter for the Tusculum College Pioneer football team.
After graduation, I worked in the political and legal arenas for 8 years and after a brief stint in Law school, I decided to change careers and venture into the wild world of education.
I have nine years of experience as a classroom teacher and athletic coach with stops in El Reno, Mid-Del, and Little Axe before I came to teach at Moore Public Schools.
I have been married to my wife, Debbie, for the last 13 years and we have been blessed with four handsome sons Jake, Joe, Nick and Sam.
I am especially proud to be an educator in Moore Public Schools. Not only do I have a responsibility as a teacher I also have a vested interest as a parent. I am a resident of Moore and have my sons attending Moore Public Schools. It is my goal at Highland West to give our students the best education possible and I will use all the tools at my disposal to insure that each student has the opportunity to achieve the best learning experience possible.
