Greetings to all! My name is Michael Adams and your teacher for this year. I am excited that you have chosen to be part of my class and hope that your experience during this year will one of enlightenment as well as self-fulfillment in your educational goals.

I was born in Columbia, South Carolina. I have taught the 7th, 6th, 5th, 4th, and 2nd grade, at middle and elementary schools located here in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. My academic preparation began at Soesterberg Air Base, The Netherlands, where I enrolled at the University of Maryland in 1990 and completed my Associated Degree in Aircraft Technology in August 1993. When I was reassigned to Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, I enrolled at the University of Central Oklahoma in August 1996 and graduated in December 1997 with a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. In the Spring of 1998, I returned to University of Central Oklahoma to pursue a Master’s Degree in Elementary School Administration and graduated in August 1999. In the spring of 2000, I enrolled at Oklahoma State University to pursue a doctorate in the Department of Social Foundations. I have competed 40 hours toward my degree. I hold a Teaching License in Elementary Education K-8, Elementary Principal License, and endorsements in Mathematics, Social Studies, and Sciences for grades 6-8.
