Mr. Rick Street

Mr. Street is Directof of Bands at Southridge Junior High and an Associate Director of Bands at Southmoore High School in Moore, Oklahoma.  He has served in this role since 2012 and been involved with the band program since its inception in 2008.  Mr. Street currently serves as the Director of Bands at Southridge Jr. High.  Here he is responsible for all 7th grade beginning band classes and the 8th grade intermediate band. While under his instruction the students have received superior ratings both at district band contest settings as well as solo and ensemble contests.

Mr. Street earned a Bachelor in Music Performance degree with a minor in Education from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.  While at ECU, Mr. Street served as a teaching assistant with the Pride of Tigerland Marching Band, and teaching assistant and guest conductor with the ECU Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band.

Mr. Adam Mewhorter

     Mr. Mewhorter serves as the Director of Bands with the Southmoore High School Instrumental Arts Progarm.  Mr. Mewhorter earned a Bachelor of Music Education and a Bachelor of Political Science degree from East Central University in Ada, OK.  Mr. Mewhorter also earned a Master of Conducting degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, OK.  Among his professional affiliations Mr. Mewhorter has served as President and Vice President of the Oklahoma Bandmasters Association, Vice President of the Oklahoma Music Educators Association, Bands Division and as Regional and local chapter President for the Kappa Kappa Psi Fraternity while at ECU.  Mr. Mewhorter is a National Board Certified Teacher and a sought after clinician and adjucator throughout the state of Oklahoma.

    Mr. Mewhorter is a 1993 graduate of Del City High School and a 1993 member of the Black Gold Drum and Bugle Corps.  Mr. Mewhorter began his career as an educator as the Director of Bands at Kingston High School in Kingston, OK.  He has also served as Director of Bands at Highland West Junior High and Assistant Director of Bands at Moore High School in Moore, OK.

Mr. Geoffrey Clifton

     Mr. Clifton is the Assistant Director of Bands and the Director of Jazz Studies for Southmoore High School Instrumental Arts Program.  Under Mr. Clifton's direction the jazz program at Southmoore has earned the distinction of being one of the top jazz programs in the state of Oklahoma.  His ensembles have consistently placed in the top five in the state.  Mr. Clifton is a 1981 graduate of McAlester High School. He received his Bachelor of Music Education at East Central University. He is also a charter member of Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity, Gamma Theta Chapter and a member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity.

    Previously, Mr. Clifton served as the Director of Bands at Kingston High School where his bands earned numerous honors including the prestigious state sweepstakes award. He has also served as Director of Bands at Byng High School, Saxophone Instructor at East Central University, Wind Instrument Technician for Howard Music Center in Ada, Oklahoma, and employed by Walt Disney World as an entertainer.

Mr. Adam Cain

Mr. Cain is an adjunct brass director.  He is a graduate from Broken Arrow High School and Oklahoma City University and is an active performer in the community.  He is an integral part of the program as he serves as the marching band visual coordinator as well as serving as a key member of the high school brass staff.

Mr. Corey Hubbard

Mr. Hubbard is an adjunct percussion director.  Mr. Hubbard is a graduate of Southmoore High School and East Central University.  He is currently enrolled in the music composition program at Oklahoma City University and is on the Southmoore High School Band Staff as the front ensemble coordinator and percussion instructor.

Mr. Chase Shelton

Mr. Shelton is a adjunct woodwind instructor.  Mr. Shelton is a graduate of Southmoore High School and is currently attending the University of Central Oklahoma.  He is an active performer in the community and on staff at Southmoore High School in the same role.
