Fellowship of Christian Athletes Constitution
Westmoore High School, May, 2005
Article 1: NAME: The organization shall be called Westmoore High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes Huddle.
Article 2: PURPOSE: To present to athletes and coaches and all whom they influence at Westmoore the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church.
Article 3: POWERS INVESTED: The principal of Westmoore has the power of veto within this organization.
Article 4: MEMBERSHIP: Membership is for any student at Westmoore.
Article 5: OFFICERS: Huddle leaders are selected by the advisor group in the spring of the school year for the following school year. Any student wishing to fill a leadership role shall notify an advisor at the conclusion of the fall semester.
Article 6: MEETINGS: Meeting times shall be determined by the advisors and huddle leaders – either mornings during the school year prior to the start of school, or evening meetings outside the school day. Additional meetings can be held for special events.
Article 7: LEADERSHIP: Huddle leaders shall be responsible to lead huddle meetings and communicate information about the huddle.
Article 8: RATIFICATION: A majority vote by the huddle at a regular meeting shall ratify this constitution.
Article 9: AMMENDMENT: The constitution may be amended by a vote of 60% at a regular meeting.
