I am a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT).  I graduated Suma Cum Laude from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2014 with a Master's in Educational Leadership.  I hold an Elementary Education Teaching Certificate with endorsements in middle school social studies and science.  I also have certification as an Elementary Principal.

I began my career, 20 years ago, in OKC teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade social studies and science before coming to Moore Public Schools.  I taught 3rd and 4th grade at Apple Creek Elementary for 5 years.  I then moved to Bryant Elementary, where I taught 4th grade for 7 years.  I have been at Wayland Bonds, teaching 3rd grade since 2012.

The Moore Lions are my alma mater!  I also attended elementary and middle school in Moore, Oklahoma.

My passion is science!  I worked as a consultant for Nancy Larson Publishers where I helped create the 4th grade science curriculum.

I am currently the Director of Tutoring for Moore Public Schools.  The Tutorial Program is free for 4th-8th grade students.  Please see the link on my home page for more details.

I love teaching!  I have high expectations for my students, which leads to elevated results!  I feel very fortunate to be able to spend each day with the remarkable staff and students at Wayland Bonds Elementary!
