I was in the Air Force for 21 years, and I served around the world.  I taught pilots for the majority of those years, and once I retired in 2014, I decided that I would teach teenagers the beauty of our language.  I have always found such comfort and personal introspection from reading books.  They are my friends, and I hope by the end of my class, they will be great friends to your children as well.  I attained my MS degree in Organizational Leadership and Management from Columbia Southern University in 2014.  I completed my BA in English with a minor in History in 2012, and I completed my AA degree in Communications in 2004.  I have two children, a 19 year old daughter and a 9 year old son.  Both are the center of my universe.  As both a mother and a teacher, I hope that I can provide you with the information that I would like to receive regarding my own children's education.
