    Reading-Your child will bring a reading book home every Tuesday and Thursday night. You will need to listen to them read and then sign the reading signing sheet in the front of the book.
     
    Vocabulary-Every Monday I will send home a list of vocabulary words. Please work on these words throughout the week so your child can read them successfully to me on Friday.
     
    Spelling-Every Monday I will send home a list of spelling words. Please work on these each night. On Thursday we will take a practice spelling test. Those students who make a perfect score on Thursday will not need to take the final test on Friday. Those who need another chance to be successful will take the final spelling test on Friday.
     
    Math-Each child will need to successfully complete basic skills set by the state. Throughout the year I will let you know what skill we will be working on so you can reinforce it at home.
