This is my second year at Westmoore. I was an Assistant Professor of Research at OUHSC until 2004. I "retired" to be able to stay at home with my son and daughter (born in 2006). I keep my hand in teaching at OU, OUHSC, OCCC, and OCU. When this position opened up I knew I had to apply. I love teaching this age group of kids. If can influence more of you become interested in science or go into the STEM fields then I've done a good job! Chemistry is a passion of mine and I want that enthusiam to spill over in all my classes. Chemistry is probably the most difficult course you will take to date. It uses the math you've learned from other classes and all your english skills. However, with hard work and help from me when you need it you will be successful.
My husband and I have 2 kids (a son who is a sophmore at Westmoore and a daughter who is in 5th grade), 2 Labs, 1 cat, 1 bearded dragon, 2 gerbils and several fish.
I'm glad to be a Jag!!!
