I need help. Now what?
The fact that you need help with something we are working on in class is a great sign. It means that you are invested in the work and want to do it correctly. I am always here to help you when you need it. The best and fastest way to get an answer to your question is to do the following:
1. Email me: firstname.lastname@example.org
2. Include your name and hour in the subject line.
3. AsK me your question. Be sure to be specific. Instead of saying, "I'm lost on this assignment" try asking a very specific question like, "I'm trying to get started on this essay, but how do I start the introduction?"
4. Don't wait until an hour before an assignment is due to ask for help.
Remember, everything you see when you walk on campus exists for you: every building, every book, every desk, every teacher. You don't come to school so I have a job -exactly the opposite. I am here to help you, so take advantage of that. Your question isn't silly or stupid. Being an intelligent person has little to do with knowing the right answer. It has much more to do with knowing where to go to get the information you need. I'm here to help
