     Examples of Cooking Videos:

    Mix together in this order with hand blender or mixer


    3 cups of all purpose flour

    4 large eggs

    1/2 cup of vegetable oil or clarified butter

    1/4 cup sugar

    1 tsp salt

    3 cups of 2% milk

    1 cup water

    1 tsp of vanilla extract

     Let the badder sit in the fridge for 1 hour or overnight. Overnight will give you the best results


    French Instructions


    Les Ingrédients

    Trois tasses de farine = 3 cups of flour

    quatre oeufs = 4 eggs

    une demi-tasse de beurre = a half cup of butter (unsalted) / OR une demi-tasse de l'huile végétale = half a cup of vegetable oil

    un quart de tasse de sucre = 1/4 cup of sugar

    une petite cuillère de sel = 1 tsp of salt

    trois tasses de lait = 3 cups of milk (2% milk)

    une tasse d'eau = 1 cup of water

    une petite cuillère d'extrait de vanille = 1 tsp of vanilla extract 


    Les instructions

    Dans un bol, mélanger la farine, le sucre et le sel = In a bowl mix the flour, the sugar, the sugar, and the salt

    Ajouter les oeufs, une tasse du lait et la vanille = Add the eggs, a cup of milk, and the vanilla

    puis bien mélanger au fouet = then mix well with a whisk

    Ajouter le reste du lait et l'eau petit à petit = add the rest of the milk and water gradually

    Ajouter le beurre fondu = Add the melted butter

    Bien mélanger = mix well

    Mettre la pâte dans le frigo pour une heure= put the batter in the fridge for 1 hour


     Chauffer une poêle = heat up a pan

    Mettre de l'huile en aérosol sur la poêle= Put cooking spray on the pan

    Verser une louche de pâte dans la poêlepour 1 ladle of the batter on the pan

    Laisser cuire 3 min de chaque coté = let it cook 3min each side

    Retourner la crêpe à l’aide d’une spatule = turn over the crepe with a spatula

    C'est fait! = It's done

    Bon appétit! = enjoy

    Recette - Recipes - to get the instructions in French

     1. Choose recipe on Marmiton.org or use the one Madame has given to you. Find the recipe steps in French

     2. The recipe must have a minimum of five ingredients

     3. Your video needs to be edited. Less than 3min  (max. 15sec of bloopers (Gaffes")No innapropriate vocabulary)

     4. Dress up in the video as a chef or TV host. You will act out and record you making the recipe. Parents may cook as long as you are in the video and speaking French. 

        You should use props such as any pots, pans, or utensils needed.   

     5. NO ENGLISH

     6. Show and say ingredients you will need in FRENCH

     7. Look up how to pronounce these words!

     8. Try your best not to always read off a paper - practice your lines

     9. Make the recipe / Include all video clips of the process/ show the final product

    10. Thank your audience, saying Bon Appétit (enjoy), goodbye

    11. This is not a picture slideshow but a short cooking video
