1. Scrub Up! Teach your child to wash their hands with soap and warm water for as long as it takes to sing one round of "Happy Birthday", and then do a second chorus while rinsing. Make sure they wash before eating and after bathroom visits.
2. Eat a balanced plate. Feed your children meals that include whole grains, fruits and veggies, plus dairy products.
3. Catch enough z's. Well rested children are healthier and less stressed.
4. Take care when sharing. Tell your student not to share drinks or food at school.
