• Point of View: 

    1st Person- The narrator is a character in the story! (Uses words like I, me, my, us, ours, and we)

    2nd Person- The narrator directly addresses the reader (Uses words like you, your, yours; includes books like "If you give a Mouse a Cookie" and "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus"

    3rd Person LIMITED- The narrator is on the outside, looking into the story and has LIMITED knowledge of the characters. (Uses words like he, she, they, them, theirs)

    3rd Person OMNISCIENT- The narrator is on the outside, looking into the story, but is ALL KNOWING, and is able to share the thoughts and feelings of some or all of the characters.
