Distance Learning began in Moore Pubic Schools on Monday, April 6, 2020, due to the state order to close school facilities to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and save lives.
In addition to our academic plan, we have developed many resources related to COVID-19 for our families to utilize.
Need more information?
We understand you have questions and we want to help! Teachers will contact students and parents weekly (via telephone or videoconferencing), and you can email them and/or your school principal as needed. In addition to utilizing your school's Distance Learning webpage, you may want to follow them on social media.

- Grab and Go Meals - MPS is offering free breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday, from 11a.m.-1p.m. at many school sites: Apple Creek, Bryant, Central, Fairview, Houchin, Kelley, Kingsgate, Northmoor, Plaza Towers, Santa Fe, Sky Ranch, Southgate, Winding Creek, Central Junior High, Highland West Junior High, and Moore West Junior High. ANY student can grab a meal at whatever school is most convenient.
- Playground Equipment & School Facilities - Due to safety concerns related to COVID-19, elementary and secondary schools’ playgrounds, basketball courts, and all outdoor sport fields (football, soccer, tracks, etc.) are closed. Students, staff, parents, and our community will be notified when these areas can be used again.
