    Required Summer Reading for 7th & 8th Graders with a reading class--Summer 2021

    Dear Southridge Parents,

If your son/daughter is enrolled in a reading class, his/her reading teacher will focus on an integrated study of reading, writing, listening, speaking, and viewing. It is the Language Arts Department’s belief that reading comprehension is an indicator of future success in education. The only way for reading skills to develop is through consistent practice and brain exercise such as summer reading.
