    Welcome to Moore Public Schools! We are happy to partner with you and your child. Our PreK programs strive to meet young children where they are by stage of development. Our teachers focus on early childhood practices that include a social emotional framework and a comprehensive curriculum focused on early literacy and mathematical concepts. The goal for every MPS PreK class is to provide a balance of social emotional development and academics through purposeful play. We want each child to experience joyful learning. Welcome to our MPS family!

    A half-day program is available at the following schools: Broadmoore, Bryant, Central, Earlywine, Fairview, Houchin, Red Oak, Santa Fe, Sky Ranch, Sooner, Southgate Rippetoe, and Timber Creek.  Students attend for 2 hours, 30 minutes in either the morning or the afternoon.                                                                                             
    Student(s) must be at least four years of age on or before September 1, 2022. The parent or legal guardian must be a resident of the Moore Public School District.
     
    Moore Public School's pre-kindergarten program is a voluntary, space available program. The maximum class size is 20 students and will be taught by an Early Childhood Certified teacher.  Each class will also have a teacher assistant. Children must be completely potty-trained.  Diapers and pull-ups are not allowed.  Students should also be able to clean themselves after using the toilet.
     
    The district does not provide transportation for our PreK programs.
     

    REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

    Must be uploaded at the time that the actual enrollment process is completed.

    ❑ Legal State Issued Birth Certificate (not a hospital certificate with foot prints)
    ❑ 1 Proof of Residence
    ● Top portion Utility Bill (water, gas, or electric). Telephone, internet and cable bills are not accepted.
    ● Lease, Mortgage Statement, Warranty Deed, Contract, or Ad Valorem Statement
    ❑ Current Immunization Record or exemption form (Immunizations must be completed before the child will be allowed to enter school)
    ● 4 doses of DTP/DtaP
    ● 3 doses of IPV/OPV
    ● 1 dose MMR
    ● 3 doses Hep B
    ● 2 doses Hep A
    ● 1 dose Varicella (chicken pox) or history of disease
