Knights eNgaged In Good Habits To Succeed

We are excited about this year as we celebrate 45 years of being a school!!  Please watch for additional informaiton on celebrations at Kingsgate this year.  We invite all of you and even past students, teachers and parents to celebrate with us  this year!

This year at Kingsgate we are focusing on learning good habits to succeed as well as being good leaders in our school and community.  Our Teachers/Staff will be able to give “Knights in Action Awards" to students that are showing an example of one of the eight habits.  These students will earn a “Leadership Luncheon” (pizza, sprite and cookies) with the Principal (Ms. Hill) and Counselor (Mrs. Hartzell).  This celebration will take place each month.  Students will also be recognized at our monthly assemblies.

Teachers and staff can also be recognized for Knights in Action Awards!  Stop by the office and pick up an award to fill out on a Kingsgate staff member.  Then leave the completed award for Ms. Hill and the staff member will be recognized by Ms. Hill.

    Monthly Assemblies

Students will be recognized for various achievements such as:  Class Attendance, Knights in Action Awards (Pizza Lunch winners), Superintendent's Honor Roll, Principal's Honor Roll and quarterly AR awards.

Principal’s Challenge for School Wide Attendance Awards

    Monthly Attendance Awards:

Each day a homeroom class has 100% attendance a tally mark will be put on a class chart on the attendance board in the front hallway of the school. 100% classes are also recognized in morning announcements the following day.  The class with the most tally marks at the end of the month will have an Attendance Celebration sponsored by our PTA.

We also love to celebrate our school-wide daily attendance percentage.  It's our goal to have higher that 95% of our students here each day.

Looking forward to a GREAT school year!!

     Karie Hill, Principal
