Support Insurance Benefits

Moore Public Schools offers all health, dental, vision and life insurance benefits administered by the Oklahoma State & Education Employees Group Insurance Board.   
              
Educational Support Professionals (ESP) Benefits
 
Full-time Educational Support Personnel contracted for at least (6) six hours a day/(30) thirty hours a week/(172) one-hundred seventy-two contracted days a year will receive a PAID monthly Flexible Benefit Allowance (FBA) of $640.28* ($320.14* each payday) when any one of the state's health plans is chosen. When a full-time employee does not choose a state health coverage plan, the monthly FBA is reduced to $189.70* ($94.85* each payday). The benefit allowance will change on January 1, 2024. The new benefit allowance will be $679.62* ($339.81* each payday).

*FBA is based on the current negotiated contract between the current Educational Support Professional association and the Moore Public School Board of Education.

Part-time educational support personnel contracted a minimum of 20 hours a week/172 days a year are eligible to elect benefits as well. The district will pay (½) one-half of the elected health premium when support professionals pay the other half.  Support professionals are also expected to pay for the summer premiums as well.

Moore Public Schools offers health, dental, vision and life insurance benefits under the Plan Administration of Oklahoma's Employee Group Insurance Division (EGID); a division of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES). 
 

OKLAHOMA TEACHERS RETIREMENT District paid 100% for full-time employees  District-Paid Life Insurance
All full-time employees receive a district-paid group life insurance: $10K Basic Life/$10K AD&D. Administrators receive an additional STD/LTD and Life package under this group benefit.

PAYROLL DEDUCTED OPTIONS 
Moore Public Schools contracts with AFPlanServ to administer a variety of investment options to choose from.  Other optional after-tax benefits may also be elected such as disability, long term care and life insurance.

SECTION 125 BENEFIT OPTIONS
The Section 125 plan allows employees to deduct a wide variety of needed benefits from their gross earnings on a before tax basis, which increases your take home pay.  Some of these benefits include: FLEX accounts for unreimbursed medical and child care, health, dental, vision, cancer plans, and dread disease.
