MPS Safety & Security Department
Moore Public Schools maintains a continual focus on the safety and security of our students, employees, and facilities. Safe schools mean a more relaxed and secure learning and teaching environment, resulting in greater classroom success.
The MPS Safety and Security team strive to stay ahead of campus security trends and implements tools and processes that enhance the student and visitor experience, whether that’s inside of a classroom, or at one of our multiple athletic facilities.
MPS employs two K9 units who help manage the safety and security of our facilities. K9 Toby and K9 Omar are certified in various divisions of weapons and narcotics and they are loved by students and employees alike.
In 2023, the Safety and Security team implemented a Clear Bag Policy for all athletic event attendees. If you’re a visitor to our facilities during an athletic event, please review and adhere to the policy.
