Experiencing mental health symptoms can be scary, but reaching out for help is a sign of courage. It can be hard to know what to say, but start with something like, “I’m not feeling right. I think I need help. Can I talk to you about it?” You can reach out to your parents, family, teachers, or school counselors. If you have noticed some changes in yourself and want to talk to someone about your mental health, click here to get some tips on how to start the conversation. If someone minimizes or ignores what you tell them, then try to think of someone else to talk to. Don't just ignore your situation or struggle alone.
