SOKC Chamber Students of the Year 2024 and 2025
SOKC Chamber Names MPS Excellence In Education Winners

The South OKC Chamber held its annual Excellence in Education Banquet at Moore Norman Technology Center's South Penn Campus on April 3.

Southmoore High School Principal Chealsi Conley was named SOKC Chamber's 2025 Administrator of the Year, Southridge Junior High teacher Heather Armstrong was named the 2025 Junior High Teacher of the Year and Moore High School senior Anthony "AJ" Brennan was named 2025 Student of the Year. 

Addison Fletcher, a Westmoore High School senior and 2025 Student of the Year nominee, started the evening by singing the National Anthem.

Conley was the winner out of 25 nominees from metro area school districts, and Turner was one of 11 area high school nominees. Student of the Year 2024 winner and SHS graduate Brynlee Clopton presented the 2025 Student of the Year Award to Brennan. 

Throughout the evening, local bank partners, Walmart, GEICO, the Norman Regional Health System, and others presented thousands of dollars in scholarships for continuing education.

Brennan earned a full-tuition scholarship from Redlands Community College and also a $5,000 WalMart Scholarship.

The Women of the South Scholarships were awarded to WHS senior Stacy Carnero and SHS senior Lamiyah Hair. The Women of the South Judy Williams Memorial Scholarship was awarded to MHS senior Carrie Dodson.

Additional MPS seniors nominated for Student of the Year were Westmoore High School senior Addison Fletcher, Southmoore senior Angel Silva, and VISTA Academy senior Natalie Horn.
