Angie Taylor, Director
    Angie Taylor is in her 24th year at Highland East Junior High! She currently serves as the director at Highland East Junior High and assists at Moore High School. Before teaching in Moore, she served as band director in Ada for five years. She received her Bachelor of Music Education degree with honors at East Central University in 1992 and performed graduate studies there as well.
    In addition to serving as a clinician and adjudicator, she is a member of several professional organizations, has been named to Who's Who among America's Teachers, and has been nominated for the Disney Teacher Award. Recently, Ms. Taylor was elected President of the Oklahoma Music Adjudicator's Association. In 2005 she was the Masonic Teacher of the Year for Highland East Junior High.
    Ms. Taylor was named Teacher of the Year for Highland East Junior High for the 2013-2014 school year. In addition, she was chosen to be in the top five Teachers of the Year for all of Moore Schools.
