    National Honor Society is YOUR organization.  Get ready to contribute your time, talent and voice to help make the world a better place. 
    Meeting are the first Thursday at 3:15 or Friday at 7:50 in the media center*
    You must attend one of those times.
    *meetings might be changed due to conflicts in schedules

    December 5th or 6th
    January 9th or 10th

    March 5th or 6th
    April 2nd or 3rd

    May 7th or 8th 
    Members must attend 75% of the meetings to remain in good standing.  This allows up to absences. On the 3rd absence you will be dismissed.  Meetings are held in the lecture center in the mornings at 7:45 or after school at 3:15.

    Do you want to be a member of NHS?

    To be eligible for a new membership, candidates must:
    - be a sophomore or junior
    - have attended MHS for one full semester
    - have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 for two consecutive semesters
    - apply to and be accepted by a majority vote of the NHS faculty council
    Transfer students who are NHS members at their former school must provide a letter of good standing from their sending NHS organization to the MHS NHS adviser.
