Senior Events and Activities
As the Graduating Class of 2022, you are due a great deal of honor. In return, seniors are expected to act maturely. Seniors are invited to participate in these once-in-a-lifetime memory-making events. You have worked many years to reach this milestone year, so please use good judgment in all your choices. Any inappropriate behavior could jeopardize your participation in senior activities, including Commencement.
Behavior and Dress Code
Please be aware that senior activities require adherence to all MHS and District rules as set forth in the Student Handbook. Inappropriate behavior or dress code violations will result in disciplinary measures. You will not be allowed to participate in that activity and NO refunds will be given. Senior dress and behavior at all senior events must comply with all dress codes and school rules set forth in the Student Handbook. If you are unsure of your clothing choice, please check with a principal or sponsor before the event takes place.
May 11: “Senior Walk”- The district wide “Senior Walk”, will be May 11 th, 2022. This event is an opportunity for the Class of 2022 graduates to revisit their elementary school, wearing their cap and gown, and honored by the current elementary schools’ students and staff. This a voluntary, fun, and memorable event. Seniors should call the Senior Office to inform the school that they will be attending the elementary “Senior Walk” and then report to their elementary school at the designated time set by the district.
May 12: Senior Dress-Up Day - MHS is proud of our Senior Dress-Up Day tradition. Students must wear either slacks, dress shirt, dress shoes, and a tie; or dress (white is traditional), blouse and skirt and dress shoes.
