• Happy New Year! Well, New School year that is… During these next several days we will open our school doors to welcome your family to the New Year.  Together, we will create a year of excellence for our children as we focus on improving student and family engagement, implementing the Oklahoma Academic Standards, and creating and maintaining a wonderful and loving school culture and climate.  We are each one determined to deliver excellent core instruction, and we will create a school where safety, respect, accountability, support, and excellence are highly evident.
     
    Parents, we know you want the best for your children! So do we! We are on the same team.  High performing schools have highly effective leaders, teachers, and teams. These schools also excel in family and community engagement.  This year, we are going to excel in involving you!
     
    I am new to Sky Ranch this year, but I am not new to the Moore School District. I was most recently the Assistant Principal at Houchin Elementary this past school year.  Before that I was an elementary administrator in the Choctaw-Nicoma Park School District for 6 years.  I have spent my entire time in education at the elementary level, either as a 3rd and 4thgrade teacher or as an administrator.  I have a family legacy and a passion for what I do and I strive each day to be better at it.  I am excited to work here with a community of teachers who are committed to sharing best practices and improving their craft.  I am happy to be welcomed and also to welcome new teachers to this school community, teachers who are passionate about our school and our mission.  We have a lot to be excited about as we begin a journey this new school year to be an amazing place for children.
