Hello!

My name is Joel Bacon. I teach 4th Grade Science and Social Studies! I've been working as an educator in several capacities for over ten years. I received my teaching certificate in 2019 after I graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

The relationship I've had with my education has largely informed how I teach. I grew up not liking school very much, but I've come to realize that I've always loved to learn. I take every effort to make my classroom all about learning and engagement. In every interaction, I aim to make my students feel like members of a living and breathing learning community where their thoughts and feelings matter.

Above all else, I am passionate about my role as a teacher. There is nothing more important to me than the success of your child.
