Principal’s Piece…by Mrs. Jackson

Thank you for participating in our Otis Spunkmeyer fundraiser. We will use our profits to purchase classroom supplies, P.E., Art, and Music equipment, and items for the library. We truly appreciate your continued support of our school and our students! The delivery date for pick-up is scheduled for March 12th. The a.m. Pre K can pick up their items staring at 11:15 in the gym. All others can start picking up their items at 12:00 until 6:30. If you are unable to pick up your order by 6:30, please make arrangements with someone to come to the gym.

Volunteers are needed for the State testing in April. Please contact Ms. Cottingham if you are willing to help (735-4148). Other important items to be aware of:

Feb. 27       Book Fair Family Night and Title I Reading Night 5:30 – 7:00

PTA will be selling pizza for $1.00 per slice and drinks $0.50 each

Feb. 28      Tape Ms. Cerda to the wall for Moore Love $1.00 to participate March 2 – 6 Kindergarten – 6th grade enrollment for 2020 – 2021

March 5-23  PTA Blue & Gold Sausage fundraiser

March 12 Otis Spunkmeyer Delivery in the gym (a.m. Pre K 11:15 all others 12:00 – 6:30)

Parent Teacher Conferences 4:00 – 7:15

March 13 Parent Teacher Conferences 8:30 – 12:00 No School

March 16 – 20   Spring Break No School

March 24    Cub Call Papa John’s pizza day for Central (12th Street location)

March 26   Report Cards go home

March 27   STUCO Career Day - dress as your desired career for $1.00 (no masks)

March 31  Honor Choir MHS Auditorium 7:00

All visitors must check in through the office, get a visitor badge and sign out when leaving.

For the safety of our K-6 students, they should not be dropped off before 8:45. Students eating breakfast are allowed to go to the cafeteria at 8:45. Students may go to the classroom at 9:00. Classes begin promptly at 9:15. If your child arrives after 9:15, they need to report to the office to receive a tardy slip. Teachers take roll promptly at 9:15.
